Our Identity

In 2019, and as CPF Beirut strived to become one of the most prestigious and reputable French schools in Lebanon, PPFL acquired Montana International College in the Metn region in 2019, eagerly fulfilling its vision for expansion.

This accomplishment enabled PPFL to promote the Protestant Educational Values not only within the French educational system, but in the english educational system as well.

After initially partnering with the AEFE, CPF Metn entered into a formal convention agreement with the agency in September 2022. During the AEFE Middle East School's Directors Seminar in February 2022, the AEFE leadership visited our campus to observe the school's educational and pedagogical development firsthand. Mr. Olivier Brochet, General Director of the AEFE, expressed his commitment to strengthening the ties between PPFL and the agency by proposing a transition from temporary agreement to a long-term convention- "conventionnement definitif". This announcement marked the beginning of new challenges and opportunities, helping to position CPF Metn as a key player in the local educational landscape.

CPF Metn stands out as a unique model of diversity and innovation, combining both a French Section and an English section. It is a school that embraces the world - promoting multilingualism, global openness and modernity.

Since the creation of CPF Metn, PPFL Board of Trustees has shown strong determination to build a robust English Section. Our commitment to the philosophy, values and rigorous standards of the International Baccalaureate (IBO) has enabled us to offer to our students both the Primary Year Programme (PYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP) - with a clear intention of becoming a full continuum IB World School.

CPF Metn is a candidate school* for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme and pursuing authorization as an IB World School.

*Only schools authorized by the International Baccalaureate can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme or the IB Career-related Certificate (IBCC). Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorization will be granted.
